Positive: The location was extremely cozy and close to the village (Bocairent). The hosts are very welcoming, they explained everything about the house and the surroundings in great details. The swimming pool is amazing. The rooms are very nice. You are free to use all the facilities in the house (we cooked our own breakfast and some light lunch). We have no kids, but there were many toys and facilities for keeping them active all day long (e.g., ping pong table, tree house, legos, etc.).

Negative: Overall, we liked everything! Just one note: there is no air conditioning in the rooms (but it was ok, even when outside it was 35+ degrees).

Positive: Thanks Villa Carmen for a great one night 2 day stay, lovely old casa, lots to do on the site, swimming camping , games to play in the lovely lounge ,and also books to read in front of a wood burner! great gardens to stroll around ...also the family run property are nice helpful people and very friendly...will be heading back soon!...Xx

Positive: No breakfast - but the owners let you go into the kitchen (very clean) and make yourself tea or coffee. There are also cold beer and vine available - very convenient. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Positive: Owner was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home right away. He went out of his way to accommodate us- explained how to get to the village, sourced taxi information, provided complimentary tea and coffee, had loads of information about the town and surroundings. Spoke English among other languages which we appreciated. Property was quiet and very clean with a stunning view of the town

Negative: We didn’t mind at all but for some people the location of the villa may be too far away from town to walk.

Summary: Loved all of it. Highly recommended.
